Develop the capacity to support someone else — a junior, a mentee, a future hire, a reader — through imposter feelings without falling into the two failure modes (false reassurance, performative solidarity), and without performing your own. The instinct to say "you're great!" to a junior who feels like a fraud is the instinct to silence a noisy alert in production. Both are reflexes against discomfort; both make the underlying signal harder to read; both cost you later. The right response is the flaky-test response: stay with the data, don't deny the symptom, investigate without rushing to solve, separate signal from noise — and remember the investigation belongs to them, not you.
